It's that time of you were we dive into CODING!!

Kindergarten:

1st Grade:
1.)  Continue to practice typing skills using Typing Club.
2.)  Create a Holiday Greeting Card using Kid Pix
3.)  Review coding using Kodable.

2nd Grade:
1.) Continue to learn about Garageband and itunes
2.) Continue to practice typing skills using Typing Club.

The Month of November

Kindergarten:  Begin learning about the interactive website, Starfall.















1st Grade: 
1.  Continue to practice typing skills using Typing Club (log into your own account)
2.  Begin creating What I Love Book using Kid Pix

2nd Grade: 
1.  Begin typing your strengths and goals for your student lead conferences
2.  Continue to practice typing skills using Typing Club (log into your own account)
3.  Start using/learning about Garage Band

3rd Grade:
1.  Continue to learn about the Google apps such as Google Drawing, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Classroom, and Google Slides. 
2.  Begin creating your Book Jacket for your Realistic Fiction Book.
3.  Continue to practice typing skills using Typing Club (log into your own account)
4th Grade: 
1.  Complete Google Slides project and share with classmates. 
2.  Begin creating a Keynote presentation about being Grateful. 
3.  Present presentations to the class.

Kindergarten Activities:  Continue to explore McAnally's Macs and improve mouse skills.









1st Grade:

2nd Grade:

Welcome BACK!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! All grade levels will learn/review about:


1.  Discuss Computer Lab behavior and expectations.
2.  Practice basic skills and expectations.
3.  Begin learning about technology vocabulary. 
     Words of the week: Web Browser, internet, bookmark, keyboard, mouse, monitor
4.  Learn/review web browsers and applications we will use.
5.  Get to know each other and the computer lab.
6.  Discuss Digital Citizenship and Internet safety.


Digital Citizenship Activities:















Kindergarten:  Get to know the computer lab, mouse, and computer. Start learning to navigate the internet by exploring some of activities below.




















1st Grade and 2nd Grade:
1.  Discuss Digital Citizenship and internet safety, complete citizenship activities as a class, and computer activities.
2.  Create a folder on your computer to save your documents

3rd Grade:
1. Discuss Digital Citizenship
2. Compute digital citizenship activities and as class and computer activities.

4.  Practice logging into your google account
5.  Begin creating your own user account on your computer.
