Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year! 

All grade levels will:

1.  Discuss Computer Lab behavior and expectations.

2.  Practice basic skills and expectations.
3.  Begin learning about technology vocabulary. 

     Words of the week: Web Browser, internet, bookmark, keyboard, mouse, monitor
4.  Learn/review web browsers and applications we will use.
5.  Get to know each other and the computer lab.
6.  Discuss Digital Citizenship and Internet safety.

Digital Citizenship Games and Videos:

Kindergarten:

Get to know the computer and mouse.  Start navigating the internet by playing these fun learning games. 

1st and 2nd Grade:
1.  Discuss Digital Citizenship, watch videos, and complete 

Digital Citizen Song video

2.  Discuss computer vocabulary
3.  Week 2: Begin International Dot Day Project - Use Tumblebooks to watch Book, Use Kid Pix to make your own Dot, save dot, describe dot, and add your photo to page before you print. 

3rd Grade:
1. Discuss Digital citizenship and Computer Vocabulary 
3. Week 2: start creating individual computer accounts

4th Grade:

Watch: Digital Citizen Video and Super Digital Citizenship Video
Use LINO to brainstorm, share, and collaborate about digital citizenship.

5th Grade:

   - Watch Digital Citizen Video

2. Use LINO to brainstorm, share, and collaborate about digital citizenship.

     - Include an image of your creation (using Word art, making a super hero, kid pix, etc..)  

    - Include a catchy headline/ title

    - Include 5 reasons/ways to be a good digital citizen
