January 3- January 6

Welcome Back!  I hope you had a great break!!

Kindergarten:
This week you will get to set up your StarFall accounts and explore the Starfall website.  You will also create a calendar for January, print, and take it home.

1st and 2nd Grade: 


This week you will begin to learn about the word processing application, Microsoft Word.  You will explore the alignment tools, fonts, and color tools.  You will also add an image to your document.  

If time remains you can go to Arcademic Skill Builder   to work on your math facts.

3rd and 4th Grade :

This week we will explore the word processing application, PAGES.  You will complete a document using a checklist to make sure you use and understand all the main tools. 


6th Grade:

This week you will start the class off with keyboarding practice using your online accounts.  Then you will go to the following link and download the scavenger hunt checklist to review your knowledge of Ancient China.  Be sure to type and save your answers as you explore the different sites searching for answers.

Short Week: December 19 - December 21 - Merry Christmas!!!

Kindergarten:
1st and 2nd Grade:
This week you will start the class period off practicing your typing skills using DANCE MAT TYPING.  

Then you can have the opportunity to explore the holiday activities below. (Scroll down next to the elf!)

3rd - 6th Grade:
This week we will finish our projects from last week, make gift tags, Christmas cards, and explore the holiday game links BELOW.

1st and 2nd Grade:

1.) You will spend the first 10 minutes of class practicing your keyboarding skills using your online account.

2.)  If you haven't finished your WORD document about Bigfork that you started last week, you will finish that assignment.  Remember to use your check list that was given to you to make sure you used all the main tools associated with Microsoft WORD!!!

3.)  Those that finish will be given time to explore the following simple machine links.

6th Grade: 

Last week you started a newsletter about Ancient China using MICROSOFT WORD, today you will continue to work on the newsletter and hopefully finish it!!

You will start the class of with practicing your typing skills using DANCEMAT TYPING.
