Week 4: September 26-30

Can you believe it is the last week of September?  Already!!  There are a few classes that are a little behind and will get to use Photobooth and iPhoto this week.  My Monday and Tuesday classes will be following last week's post.

Kindergarten:

3rd Grade - 6th Grade :

This week, you will get to edit the photos that you imported last week in iphoto.  You will experiment with the iphoto editor options as well as the photo editor link, picnik.com.  You will be blown away with the fun you will have using picnik.com.  Click on the underlined link to get started.  Have fun!!

                                                                                               

Week 3: September 19-23

A few classes still need to set up personal accounts, so some of us will be busy doing that this week.  

3-6th grade:  

We will get to use Photobooth to take pictures and edit them.  We will also learn how to save the pictures using iphoto.  Some classes will also use the photo editor link: picnik.com to edit their picture.  

Kindergarten - 2nd grade:

Week 2 (September 12 - 16)

Finally, we have computers in the new lab!! Yeah!!  This week we will be exploring the Mac and the operation system. You will also get to set up your own account; choosing a user name, password, and picture that represents you!!

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Welcome to the computer lab!! I am Mrs.McAnally and I will be teaching computer technology K-4, and 6th grade this year.  I am very excited to be your computer technology teacher!!  We are also very fortunate to have a new computer lab at the elementary level.

Week 1

All grade levels -  During our first computer class together we will go over the computer lab rules and my expectations as your teacher. We will take some time to discuss your knowledge of using the Mac computers as well as the Internet. You will also be assigned a computer which you will use the entire year.
